The Hummer, a direct descendent of the HUMVEE, the vehicle of the American army, is quickly becoming the 4x4 of choice in European cities. Half truck, half car, the gas-guzzler is a big hit among automobile enthusiasts, especially women. In this humorous documentary, the director went looking for the appeal of this modern-day tank. She returns with a tragic-comic send-up of our consumerist society.
