Crazy, dynamic and ironic, this film takes us on a journey into the history of Tehran with Massoud Bakhshi’s film crew.
In this both humouristic and critical portrait of a major city, he joyfully plays with fact and fiction to depict today’s reality.
From the city's foundation, then a small rural village (where exceptionally delicious pomegranates still grew) via well known oppressors and outstanding anonymous bystanders, he succeeds in documenting 150 years of history and its contradictions.
