Alerted by the fact that numerous African Aids patients regularly consult traditional healers, the doctor Moussa Maman, an ethno-psychiatrist practicing in France for 20 years, takes us to Bénin, Niger and Sénégal to meet these healers. Confusion abounds between the real traditional healers who fight against the isolation and distress of the Aids victims and those who make business out of their suffering. These charlatans bring discredit to the healers work and their possibility to offer answers in the fight against the disease.
